31 weeks: at the beach!

We are in the 31st week now! The weather here has been much different than what I am accustomed to, but we took full advantage of it on Saturday and headed to the beach! This was our Valentine's Day date, so we went to Anna Maria Island and had a sunset dinner on the beach to end the day. Ironically, our Valentine's Day date last year involved dinner out with alot of snow in Atlanta. Just a little different this year :) Our little trip reminded me of how blessed I am to have such a loving husband who desires my happiness. Thanks D for all you do for our family!

Bryce seemed to enjoy his first beach trip.. and of course we documented it with pictures. Now we are ready to take little man back to the beach when he can touch the sand and see the water for himself!

Until next week...

30 weeks.. nursery updates.

We are in our 30th week now 30 weeks and 4 days to be exact:
I feel great still, and had a good report from my endocrinologist and cardiologist this week. I go to the OB today, as my every 2-week appointments start. It feels as if Bryce is building a castle inside me with all of his cool moves, and he has been obsessed with tangerines and red grapes the past few weeks (notice I blame him).
The nursery is finally coming together..not really sure what took me so long to do more. The only furniture left to put in the room is the rocker, which we ordered last week. I can't wait for it to be here! There is still a good bit more I need to do but here is the nursery so far:

I'll post pictures again when the nursery is finished.. hopefully in the next few weeks :)

Week 29!

Today is 29 weeks and 3 days= 74 days until our due date! At this point, time is moving very slow..I imagine this will only get worse as each day passes. Our 28 week appointment last week went well- I had my glucose tolerance test and received my Rhogam injection. For anyone who is a mom or planning to be and you have a negative blood type, Rhogam injections are no joke! I mean I can't say much because I know my near future entails much more pain than that, but that thing hurt..bad. And it continued to hurt for about 3 hours. So, sympathy goes out to all who have had it, and a warning for those who will need it in the future :)
Now we will go to see our doctor every 2 weeks, which makes the due date seem closer than it really is!

On another note, I bought a web cam today so that all of our friends and family who live far away can see us whenever they want. I knew this would be a great way for everyone to see Bryce once he arrives, so I will be setting it up today. Thank you, creators of Skype :)

I'm working on a few nursery projects right now so I will hopefully post some pictures next week..
Lastly, the bump..
